RAJA YOGA There are many kinds of Raja Yoga if you go in detail of it. Raja Yoga is said to occur when the Karakamsa and ascendant shares a mutual relationship; or when ascendant, second and fourth house are linked with the benefic planets, with a malefic planet aspecting the third house; or when incapacitated planets position themselves in the sixth house, eight house and third house, with the lord of the ascendant positioning itself either in its own sign or in its exaltation sign in the ascendant; or when any planet position itself in the second house, with Moon, Venus, Jupiter or a powerful Mercury positioning itself in its own sign; or when the ascendant is aspected by the ruler of the tenth house which is positioned either in its own sign or in its exaltation sign. Additionally, Raja Yoga is also said to occur when all the benefic planets position themselves in the basic houses; or when the ascendant is aspected by the incapacitated lords of the sixth, eighth or tenth house; or when the lord of the fifth house and lord of the tenth house shares any kind of association; or when the lords of the fifth, tenth and fourth houses, and the lord of the ninth house and ascendant shares any association; or when the lord of the fifth house has any association with the ruler of the ninth house or lord of the ascendant in first, fourth or tenth house; or when the planet Venus has association with the planet Jupiter in the ninth house which is the sign of either Pisces or Sagittarius Rashis or with the ruler of the fifth house; or when the planet Moon places itself in the third house or in the eleventh house; with Venus positioned in the seventh house from the Moon; these planetary combinations all lead to the formation of Raja Yoga in a Rashi. Raja stands for regal or royal. The Yoga with the same name Raja Yoga makes a similar impact on its native. The presence of Raja Yoga in a person’s Rashi results in making the native a king or a ruler or an equivalent to him. The person under the influence of Raja Yoga gets immense amount of wealth, richness; becomes highly affluent; and attains imperial and majestic status in the society.
